By using LearnScubaNow ("the service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

What we do

We connect prospective scuba divers with certified local dive shops. We are a matching service — we are not a dive shop, instructor, or training agency. All instruction, certification, and dive activities are provided by the matched shop, not by us.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian submit on your behalf. You must provide accurate information so we can match you with an appropriate shop.

No guarantee of certification or safety outcome

Scuba diving is an inherently risky activity. We do not warrant that any matched shop will accept you as a student, complete your training, or that you will obtain certification. You are responsible for completing all medical, swim, and skill prerequisites required by your matched shop and certifying agency.

Assumption of risk

You acknowledge and accept the risks associated with scuba diving and related activities. You agree to follow the guidance of your matched dive shop and instructors at all times. LearnScubaNow has no involvement in or responsibility for in-water activities.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnScubaNow and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from instruction, training, equipment, or activities provided by a matched dive shop. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to USD $100.

For dive shops

If you are a dive shop, you agree to: respond to matches in a timely and professional manner, maintain valid certification credentials with PADI, SSI, NAUI, or an equivalent agency, and treat all referred customer information confidentially. We reserve the right to remove any shop from our network at our sole discretion.

Intellectual property

All site content, branding, copy, and design are owned by LearnScubaNow. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse our content without written permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including suspected abuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
